Steve Sanderson has joined @vibe media as a technical advisor. Steve brings a wealth of experience to the table and is well versed in the modern web ecosystem. Steve is especially well known for leading product development for exceptionally elegant software applications and has a unique talent of blending technical acumen with business leadership. We are very excited to have Steve on board and look forward to his continued mentorship.Until recently, Steve served as Vice President of Development and Technology at FiveRuns, a well regarded Austin startup focused in the Rails management space. Steve managed to assemble some of the best Ruby talent in the world under one roof and they were well known in web software circles for providing top notch Ruby solutions. Previously, Steve served in technology leadership roles at Sapling Systems, SAIC and Excite@home.
Steve is currently serving as VP of Product Development for the Rosso Corp, an Austin Ventures seed funded startup in the consumer space founded by Manuel Rosso of IMVU fame.

We are excited to announce our rebranding and new market focus with the formation of @vibe media, Inc. In our new direction as a venture accelerator, we are working exclusively with venture backed technology startups, acting as a business development catalyst, focused on the juncture between business model innovation of and market development. Our mission is to help startups find the leverage necessary to create market acceleration and scale.
Our focus is on startup companies that have launched their initial product release but are still in the formative stage with their business model. This is a critical stage in life of most startups where investors are watching closely to determine where they rank in the overall portfolio. Finding traction here can mean the difference between receiving the next critical round of growth capital and languishing on the vine.
We work with our portfolio companies through a combination of cash and equity, aligning our goals and creating value for our startups that they could not otherwise afford. We help our portfolio companies in retaining executive level business development expertise without adding full time salaries to the budget.
@vibe is based in Austin with operations in Hamburg, Germany.
